Oh, I got a tumblr. I don't think that I'll be officially linking it, so think of this as an early adopter perk for you You Know You Love It readers.

So Many Questions

Would you wear this Marni floral necklace? It seems a bit fussy and kind of reminiscent of that DVF floral headband that Whitney Port (unsuccessfully and famously) wore. The flowers are gorgeous and incredibly well made but I can't help but think that I would feel 100% ridiculous if I were to wear it. What clothes would you even pair it with? I think it is rather unsuccessful with this dress and purse. I'm sure Peaches Geldof or Cory Kennedy will be spotted wearing this with righteously dirty hair and torn panty hose. Oooh my, I can't wait until Forever 21 makes a knock-off... Marni floral necklace, $1,350

Kinda Like Erin Wasson, But With More Showers

Yesterday I cleared out about 1/3 of my wardrobe. I said goodbye to countless t-shirts and a few Heatherette items whose sequins have fallen off. Also a few dresses that never, ever saw the light of day (for good reason). As a reward, I think I that I should get some shoes.
I just might get these for prom, floor length black deserves color and shine. Also, the t-straps will go with the fingerwaves I've been contemplating. Or maybe I'll do a Holly Golightly French twist. Christian Louboutin T-Bar sandals, $865
So she might not be anywhere if her dad wasn't a Beatle but I love Stella McCartney. Her shoes have been hit or miss with me lately, but these are most certainly a hit. Spectator pumps, $645
These are even more perfect for prom. Glitter shoes are hard to pull off. So many times they look cheap and disgusting, granted I haven't seen these in person but the various types of sequins and glitter on these pumps take them to the next level. LOVE! Jean-Michel Cazabat open toe pumps, $650
These are just up here because I saw so many Tory Burch flip-flops today I thought that I was going to go blind. Loeffler Randal sandals, $450

Live Blogging Gossip Girl Part 1

Welcome to the first of (hopefully) many installments of live blogging Gossip Girl here on You Know You Love It. I did a practice version last Monday but unfortunately twitter lost half of my tweets, alas I may have to give in and get twitterberry after all. Anyways, check the space below (or just go to my twitter) and feel free to comment!

    A Flair for the Drammatic

I feel that the time is ripe for a turban. Alas, I'm finding it hard to find a suitable one. I want one fitting for Elizabeth Taylor, something I can really act dramatic in and lounge about as I moan about how it isn't August 20th. It needs to be incredibly special and look good...uh with hair. So, I am on a quest! I will hunt through every vintage shop I find.

    Anywhere Anyhow

I'm still dreaming of these. Ooooh Lanvin. $865

    Todays Purchases

Pink, and basically the best tweezers out there. Tweezerman tweezers, $20
My usual mascara. I love it and will never ever stop. Okay, I actually love YSL more but I only use it when I have a Norwegian to "borrow" it from. Not that I condone stealing or anything. We always gave it back. Benefit BADgal lash, $20
So technically I didn't buy these today but they did come in the mail today. I used to have some wonderful sunglasses that I bought on a cruise ship in Australia but in a fit I stepped on them, it was sad. Greta glasses, $9.99

Of course, the make-up bag I bought from J.Crew is nowhere to be found and I'm far too tired to take pictures of it.

    For When You're Making Time

I love menswear watches. But I've never really been one for feminine jewelry. $42
Black accessories are underrated. Of course, that could be a good thing. Fendi watch, $995
Juicy Couture may have some middle school associations but if I saw a middle schooler with a watch this slick I'd probably just go and kill myself. Then again, when I was in middle school everyone obsessed over these heinous Baby G watches. I didn't own one because they were ugly. $195

    Welcome to the Future

We had five inches of snow last week.
Last night I went out in an American Apparel skirt, a Ralph Lauren blouse, and 90s Prada shoes. Note the absence of tights. I can not decide if I like this or if I am absolutely terrified. Of course, at the party that I went to half of the girls were wearing shiny American Apparel leggings and Uggs but that's totally unimportant.
What is important is that this nice weather reminds me that June is coming soon, and with June comes graduation. Yes, I have my dress already. I'll be sitting out in the scorching heat on a big black stage with giant sunglasses, a big black sunhat, black heels, and my long long pearls. Oooh the excitement. See by Chloe dress, $340
